ENFJ, passionate about personal development, teaching, and bringing out the best in people and their work.
Hello! I'm Jennifer, a business coach, mentor, consultant, and motivational speaker.
About
Whether it's creating a new way of generating revenue, automating processes to scale a business, building a new website, developing sales and marketing strategies and assets, fine-tuning operations, or doing a brand overhaul, I have a proven track record and expertise that has led me to effectively coach and consult small business owners, online retailers, multi-million dollars brands, solopreneurs, and startups.
As an expert in my field, I have been able to combine my consultative approach with my human-centric understanding of business and technology to help my clients actualize their vision.
While each chapter of my early career is heavily intertwined, the direct impact is best felt in this next chapter through coaching, consulting, mentoring, and motivational speaking.
How my experience has prepared me to help serve others.
Sometimes things don't work out the way you had hoped, but the experience and lessons have allowed me to grow and expand my potential on professional and personal levels.
This experience taught me that we should never underestimate ourselves because there are no limits to what we can accomplish when we believe in ourselves and lean into the unknown with an open heart, a can-do attitude, and a growth mindset.
... it taught me about failure and mental and emotional toughness of building tech startups and the costs to finance them.
Though I had a successful beta run, ultimately...
You don’t have to be a software engineer, you just need to partner with one. I conceptualized and executed an all-in-one marketplace startup after careful study of what was missing from other peer-to-peer marketplaces and decided to create a platform that would benefit both the consumer and service providers. SourceList was a subscription-based turnkey solution to create, market and manage an independent or small business using proprietary technology.

Riding my bike to my SF office, in my Gucci flats no less.
And that's what I did next...
The pain points of running my ever-growing team of contractors and ever-expanding list of clients had to be addressed. I knew that there had to be a better way to streamline the nuances of operations, marketing, and business development.
Transitioning to the Wild West of entrepreneurship demanded that I look the fear of the unpredictable in the eye and take bold actions. As my client list grew, so did the headaches of running a business. I realized how easy it was for a small business owner to put the "back office" on the back burner. I made changes to the business to create a better experience for my clients and vendors, but those changes required me to be involved in every transaction. That level of hands-on activity within the business worked beautifully but wasn't sustainable. I was the Ringmaster and couldn't operate as efficiently as a piece of software.
I took the idea of what I was missing in my life (and giving fellow members of the corporate workforce back their precious time) to heart. A short while later I launched that idea into a small business in San Francisco: Domestic Concierge. Behind Domestic Concierge was my vision of serving others in a more personal way - a way that enriched their daily lives. And it did.
Now it wasn't a literal billboard, but it sure did look like one flashing in my mind with big, bold letters that spelled out TIME.
Then the bright, flashing lights of a Las Vegas billboard defined my next move.
But work/life balance was non-existent. I knew there had to be other professionals just like me sacrificing their personal lives for the demands of careers they loved.
Early in my career, I worked in Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Seattle, Chicago, and Orlando for Fortune 500s, SMBs, and startups as a lead consultant in talent acquisition focused on building world-class staffing organizations. I quickly earned a reputation for being a collaborative and innovative leader, known to be a creative problem solver, improving processes and being inventive in developing and fulfilling the capabilities and infrastructure for global recruitment within HR organizations.
When a billboard defines your next move even when you're not in Vegas!
