My top five business tools for April:
ClickUp (Project Management)
After using Asana for years and hearing so my hype about Clickup, I decided to give it a test drive after hearing @thejenapaulo (Biz Ops Consultant) talk about it so much.
Being organized is a key to having a highly productive workday—ClickUp took my workflow organization, social media management and client onboarding to a whole other level!
If you want to run your business like a well-oiled machine, whether you are a team of one or many, having a system in place helps you become more productive and accountable!
Flodesk (Email Marketing)
Here’s another platform I recently switched to after using Mailchimp since 2011.
Flowdesk takes your email marketing next level! You can create beautiful, branded email campaigns that get higher open rates. Flodesk is very intuitive, making it super easy to design branded emails from their gorgeous templates or creating your own and setting up triggered workflows.
Click here for 50% of the monthly rate for your first year—that’s $19/month and well worth it if you want high converting email campaigns!
Showit (Website Builder)
Your website is the front door to your business and the first impression you give a potential customer. I’ve built on WordPress for years, and after discovering Showit, I’ll never go back! Showit is a simple drag and drop website builder that gives you complete creative control of your site’s look and feel without using any code. You can design it on your own or work from a template to make it your own.
If you’re anything like me and want a high-converting website that delivers an incredible customer/visitor experience, drop me a DM!
LastPass (Password Manager)
I’ve used three different password manager tools over the years, and LastPass is hands down my preferred choice. What I like most about it is that you can:
- Securely give freelancers access to sites without compromising your passwords
- Auto-generate strong passwords
You can use their freemium version or upgrade to their paid version for $24 per year if you need extra features. All you need to do is remember your master password and get secure access on your computer and mobile devices. I use the Google Chrome browser extension that makes it super easy for logging in to secure sites.
Acquity Scheduling (Online Booking)
I chose Acuity Scheduling for features like these:
- Automatically send branded and customized booking confirmations
- Deliver email and text appointment reminders
- Set up client intake questions
- Make it easy for clients to schedule, cancel and reschedule on their own – plus process payment (without being involved in the process)
- Block out times when you’re unavailable, plus control the mandatory amount of time between each client, when clients book back-to-back
- No more double booking
Acuity keeps the process seamless and straightforward for the client and the business owner alike.
